The ductile performance of high strength steel (HSS) from different grades, producers, manufacturing processes varies a lot. It is also difficult to conduct all kinds reliable experiments generate stress status through initial specimen geometries or by applying load combinations in the civil engineering sector. One common issues for HSS structures identify parameters fracture model conveniently uniaxial stress–strain relationship obtained coupon specimens. An attempt made this paper use proposed mesoscale critical equivalent plastic strain (MCEPS) calibrate locus uncoupled phenomenological based only on relationship. method successfully validated Sandia challenge 2014.
